We have a special winter episode this week with two eerie winter crimes. Lauren takes us back to the winter of 1998 where a Missouri family disappears without a trace. There was no sign of Susan Brouk or her two children, and the Brouks didn’t take their winter coats or snow boots and it was below freezing. After the family is discovered murdered about half a mile from their home, investigators began the search for who could commit such a heinous crime. Kenzie covers the unsolved case of Rhonda Hinson who was murdered coming home from a company Christmas party. Investigators seem to think it's a lost cause and will never be solved, but the family is still holding out hope 40 years later.
